What brought me to a career in Massage Therapy was the desire to make peoples lives a little brighter. To touch the world, one body at a time, and to allow a space for my clients to heal themselves by experiencing a centeredness and calm within.
My education began at the Utah College of Massage Therapy in Salt Lake City, UT. After completing an intense 800+ hour bodywork program, I went on to attain a National Certification and moved to Kentucky to begin my practice. My most common treatments were spa treatments, cranio-sacral, athletic massage, neuromuscular, shiatsu and acupressure. I now include stretching, pre-natal, La Stone Therapy and four years' experience.
With a strong background in classical ballet and modern dance, I began to focus my energy on learning how the body moves, how it is able to repair itself, and how it is effected by our daily lives, including emotional status and nutritional needs.
Through bodywork and much personal exploration, I have been able to witness the unique intersection where mind, body, and spirit meet. It is my intention to guide my clinets to this intersection by helping to restore balance and harmony in their lives while creating an awareness of how they can best maintain freedom of movement in their bodies.
